Department: Art & Graphic Design

Shin-hee is an evangelical, born-again Christian artist. She was born in a Christian family; both her grandfathers served as pastors in Korea, and one of them was martyred, along with 500 other priests, by communists during the Korean war.

She relishes the opportunity to teach at Tabor, where she can educate the future generation of Christian artists. The most rewarding aspect of teaching for her is to see students incorporate Christian faith into their art in a creative way.

With her husband, Ku-Sup Chin, Shin-hee has two bilingual, bicultural children: Grace Dallae Chin and Caleb Sol Chin.
