Richard integrates faith into each of his classes by allowing students to project their faith into their learning and the possibilities of their future lives and vocations.
He loves the strong musical history of the community. Performances are always full with students, faculty, and Hillsboro residents.
Richard is married to Dr. Linda Cantwell, marketing and communications professor at Tabor. They have three grown children and seven grandchildren.
