Deborah Penner, Ph.D.
Professor of English; Language and Literature Department Chair
Biography:
Email: deborahp@tabor.edu
Phone: 620-947-3121, ext 1021
Departments: Language and Literature
Deborah believes her highest satisfaction as a person comes from her family life. She is proud of the way her three adult children (with husband Paul) have grown into competent workers and spiritual leaders.
She’s excited by watching her students mature in their knowledge of literature, become spiritual leaders, and teach on the college, high-school, and middle-school levels.
Deborah incorporates Christian ethics in all writing courses. She asks, “How can we as Christian readers and writers reflect good critical thinking from a Christ-centered set of values?”
