Hesston College Sophomore Roxanne Stauffer has signed a letter of intent to play basketball next season for the Lady Jays

Stauffer, a 5-foot 9-inch guard, led Hesston (Kan.) College in scoring last season at 12.5 points per game. She was named to the NJCAA 2nd Team All-Region VI Team, and set the Hesston College single season free throw record shooting 84 percent from the line (76-91)

According to Head Women’s Basketball Coach Shawn Winter, “Roxanne has two seasons of college experience which has prepared her to help our team for the next two seasons. She is athletic, well skilled, and understands how to play the game. She will also bring strong leadership to our team and the campus as well.”

Roxanne is the daughter of Barry and Brenda Stauffer.
