Jeanne considers teaching at Tabor a dream come true. Since she graduated in 1970 from Eastern Mennonite College (now EMU) she has wanted to teach at a church school as a thank you for her education. Becoming a nurse has been important to her development.

Jeanne enjoys serving. She was blessed to be a nurse/community developer/health educator in Bolivia, South America for 4 years and she served on the Ad Hoc committee to form the Health Ministries of Harvey County (a clinic in Newton for the medically underserved).

She was a school Nurse in the Wichita Public schools for 18 years. She still drives the combine on their farm in the summer. She enjoys her family of 13 grandchildren, with two more on the way. Her youngest daughter recently moved to New Zealand, where she hopes to visit this year. She serves on the Moundridge Historical Association. She likes to celebrate and be creative. She is active in her church.
