Biography

Lynette has worked in various capacities in education field; her work experience spans kindergarten through the collegiate level. She taught K-6 special education and first and second grade during her tenure in Marion, KS. Lynette then taught special education and did some school counseling in Newton, KS. Her family moved to Perrysburg, Ohio where she served as the special education coordinator at a charter school. For the past seven years she was an adjunct instructor at Bowling Green State University, Lourdes University and Owens Community College. Her most recent position was as a Career Assessment Specialist at a career center also in Perrysburg, Ohio for the past five years before moving back to Kansas.

Family

Lynette lives with her husband of 23 years, Jim, and their 14 year old son, Austin, on an acreage south of Hillsboro. She enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her family and supporting her son in his activity of the season; football, wrestling, baseball, choir, drama and motocross.
