Biology Mission Statement
The holistic scope of biological studies encompasses molecular interactions within a cell continuing on through organismic relations within the environment. The operative paradigm of the biology faculty is the integration of classroom study with guided independent research. This hands-on approach to learning will correlate structure and function with scientific reasoning and systematic analysis. We are committed to the development of spiritual growth, personal integrity, and the responsible stewardship of resources. The goal of the department is to instill in our graduates lifelong learning with a Christian ethic.
