Tabor’s Biblical and Religious Studies major is designed to help students be an informed and effective disciple of Jesus Christ in today’s world. It is extremely flexible, allowing you to take advantage of the wide variety of courses offered by the Bible, Religion and Philosophy department. Since many credit hours overlap with Tabor’s general education requirements, the major easily serves as a second major for those pursuing vocations in another field of study.
“My Bible and philosophy degrees have proven to be more-than-adequate preparation for the academic rigors of graduate theological education. But my course work at Tabor also challenged me to integrate a search for truth with a search for vocational clarity and spiritual maturity. Conversations with faculty members and fellow students helped me to discern the way I was being called to serve Christ and his kingdom.” – Matt Insley
