Assistant/Associate Professor of Instrumental Music

Description: The Director of Instrumental Music is responsible for directing and expanding instrumental music at Tabor College. Responsibilities include: (1) direct symphonic band, pep band, and jazz band; (2) direct chamber string orchestra; (3) teach instrumental conducting, instrument methods, and possibly other areas of expertise; (4) actively recruit new students to Tabor College to participate in the Music Department.

Qualifications: MM required, DMA preferred. The successful applicant must show evidence of ability to teach and direct at the undergraduate level and possess excellent organizational and communication skills, both internally and externally. Commitment to teaching in the context of a Christian liberal arts college is essential.

Nursing Faculty for Tabor College-Wichita, School of Adult & Graduate Studies, Wichita, KS

Tabor College (Wichita) seeks nursing faculty positions to teach in its RN-BSN degree completion program. Adjunct, part-time, and full-time positions available.

Qualifications: Master’s degree required; doctorate preferred. A current, unencumbered Kansas registered nursing license is required. Current clinical practice in nursing research and quantitative data analysis, nursing leadership and/or management, professional practice, and/or project management is desired. Successful candidates must support the Nursing Department Conceptual Framework and understand and support the mission and goals of an evangelical, Anabaptist Christian college (refer to www.tabor.edu) and must be able to articulate a personal Christian commitment.

The nursing program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
