Family Information
Married to Dena (Suderman) for 35 years. Dena is a Registered Nurse at Newton Medical Center.
We have two children, Heidi, married to Todd McAtee, living in Shawnee, Kansas where they both teach. They are parents to Marcus and Kobie. Our son Andrew lives in Newton, Kansas and works for Excel Industries in Hesston.
Hobbies and Interests
My life-long hobby is coin collecting and now appraising. I also enjoy travel (especially international), hiking and scuba diving. My golf game needs serious improvement. I enjoy meeting people and nurturing relationships.
What do you love about being part of Tabor?
The people associated with Tabor College made it meaningful for me in those formative years when I attended as a student. Everyday faculty and staff invest their lives and energy training and equipping young people to become the salt and light of the world through their chosen profession. It made a difference in my life. I want to help make that difference in the lives of others today and for the future.
