Nine Bluejays Earn NAIA All-American Scholar Athlete Honors

The National Association of Intercollegiate of Athletics has honored nine Tabor College Bluejays for there efforts this fall both on the field and in the classroom as they were named NAIA All-American Scholar Athletes.

The award is given to junior student athletes who are nominated by their coaches and maintain a current GPA above 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

“Our athletic department mission includes support for learning,” said Vice President of Athletics Rusty Allen. “Our coaches set classroom goals for their teams, one of which is to see as many players as possible earn Academic All-American honors. We are excited and proud of these young men and women who have excelled in the classroom and we will continue to challenge all of our student-athletes to strive for excellence in their pursuit of a degree.”

Tabor recipients include: Women’s Soccer: junior Amy Dueck (Reedley, Calif.) and senior Jenny Soulias (San Marcos, Calif.). Men’s Soccer: junior Dallas Pruitt (McPherson, Kan.). Volleyball: seniors Andrea Batista (Hagerman, N.M.), Erin Dick (Corn, Okla.), Carly Kroeker (Henderson, Neb.), and Audra Schenk (Hillsboro, Kan.), as well as juniors Jordan Crosson (Minneapolis, Kan.), and Jessica Perrault (Westminster, Colo.).
