man,” Lori Walsh, Wichita, will share how
she has happily spent her life following God’s
calling into many new, sometimes surprising,
adventures.

Many of us remember when a Sunday
couldn’t go by without listening to the Old
Fashioned Revival Hour with Charles E. Fuller
and Rudy Atwood. Lee and Di Suderman and
Stephen Vincent will take us back to those
wonderful days with music and story.

My Aunt’s 11 Years in Siberian Forced Labor
Suffering received a new face when thousands
of Germans caught in the aftermath of
World War II were shipped like cattle into
exile to face hunger, frigid cold and religious
restriction. Author, Katie Funk Wiebe, Wichita,
will share. David Brown, leader.

Aprons: The Great American Cover-up
Susie Haver, Concordia, is known for delightful
presentations. Today’s is guaranteed to
trigger memories of growing up. Haver, ties
singing, story-telling and “show and tell” into
an entertaining, light-hearted program for
men and women.

Biscuits and Bison: Exploring Kansas Food Heritage
Jane Marshall, an award winning food editor
now at Kansas State Univ., will talk about the
diverse cuisines found in Kansas including
our own food heritage. If you wish to show
Jane some of our unique ethnic foods, bring a
small sample.

Successful Retirement and Healthy Aging
Phillip Miller, PhD, LP, is a licensed clinical
psychologist who sees clients in the
McPherson and Hillsboro offices of Prairie
View. Based on his experience with older
adults, we’re sure to be encouraged and come
away with some helpful tips.

Longtime United Methodist Church pastor,
Bob Priest, Marion County Lake, will report
on his 2011 visit to this wild yet beautiful
African country and its hardworking people.

Denise Brown, motivational speaker and mother
of Tabor College football standout Spencer
Brown, will share how social class affects the
way we perceive others (often incorrectly).
What are the “hidden rules?” We’ll gain practical
insights on how to reach out to others.

Year-end Coffee and Concert
While seated at tables, we’ll share fellowship
and delicious rolls made by Dorene Thiessen.
Then we’ll enjoy David Anderson’s selections
on his dulcimer. Lastly, plan to have fun as
game-show host, Ron Braun, leads our version
of “Name that Tune.”
