Peggy helps students see knowledge, skill, and competency are accessible to them, that literature and history have meaning, that their personal ideas and perspectives have legitimacy, and that with attention and hard work their God-given abilities and talents can be developed and honed to a high degree.
She considers it a privilege to be able to support, pray for, and care for each other in the community of Tabor.
Peggy takes joy in seeing students move from indifference and frustration regarding grammar and composition to active engagement and, in some cases, enthusiasm. She loves when students develop scholastically and spiritually, taking time for both serious study and serious worship.
Peggy and her husband, Gaylord, have four married children.
