About Amanda
Amanda Edington Lee is not new to Tabor College nor to the Admissions Office. She graduated from Tabor in 2002 with a degree in Communication Studies. While a student, she worked in the Admissions Office as a student caller and after graduating made it her full-time job for 4 years. From 2002-2006 Amanda enjoyed traveling around the U.S. building relationships with prospective students and parents. She loves to share her Tabor experience and encourages everyone she comes in contact with to check it out!
In the fall of 2006, Amanda followed God’s call to leave Tabor and serve Him in China. She joined a Christian organization, raised financial support and taught English at a university. The best part of this experience for Amanda was building relationships with college students (sound familiar?) and sharing the love and freedom found only in Christ! She loved it so much she returned for a second year of service.
God has blessed Amanda beyond what she could have imagined. She not only made many Chinese friends but also found her husband. Amanda married Ryan Lee at the beginning of October 2008. Ryan also served two years in China. They welcomed their first daughter, Alexandria, in February 2011.
Amanda has returned to Tabor because she believes in higher Christian education and further Christian growth. She is eager to share what opportunities await you at Tabor.
